Configuring SSO in G Suite

  1. In any web browser, login to admin.google.com.
  2. Click on Apps.
  3. Click on SAML apps.
  4. Create new SAML app service by clicking the plus button in the bottom right corner.
  5. Click "Setup my own custom App" at the bottom of the popup. Setup Custom App
  6. Copy / write down the SSO URL and Entity ID. (These values will be used in the EMS Portal).
  7. Click the download button next to the generated Certificate.
  8. Click next.
  9. Name your new SAML configuration and set a Description if you desire.
  10. Enter the ACS URL found within the SSO Configuration in your EMS Portal.
  11. Enter the Entity ID found within the SSO Configuration in your EMS Portal. Additional Mappings Custom App
  12. Click Next.
  13. Click Add New Mapping and enter FirstName in the attribute input. Select Basic Information from the first drop down and "First Name" from the last drop down.
  14. Click Add New Mapping and enter LastName in the attribute input. Select Basic Information from the first drop down and "Last Name" from the last drop down. Additional Mappings Custom App
  15. Click Finish.
  16. Your G Suite SSO setup is now complete and ready to go!
